Spribe builds on UFC multi-year agreement with Dvalishvili signing
Spribe, the developer behind the world’s number-one crash game is pleased to announce that Merab ‘The Machine’ Dvalishvili (pictured) has become the latest brand ambassador of Aviator; a game played by more than twelve million players each month.
Dvalishvili is currently the top contender in the UFC bantamweight division and has accumulated a huge fan base around the world. Originally from Tbilisi, Georgia, Dvalishvili relocated to the United States to become a professional MMA fighter and train under world-famous trainers Roy Longo and Matt Serra.
This latest announcement builds on Spribe’s multi-year agreement with the UFC, which sees the Aviator logo and branding appear during the UFC’s Fight Nights and pay-per-view events inside the Octagon.
“We are really excited to add Merab Dvalishvili to our growing roster of UFC brand ambassadors, which also includes light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira,” the Chief Commercial Officer for Spribe, Giorgi Tsutskiridze, said. “We see a lot of cross-over from sports and sports betting to online casino play, especially within regulated markets. Acquisition expands Golden Matrix’s global footprint and significantly increases revenues
Golden Matrix Group Incorporated (NASDAQ:GMGI) (Golden Matrix), a developer, licensor and global operator of online gaming and eCommerce platforms, systems and gaming content, has announced the closing of the previously announced acquisition agreement pursuant to which Golden Matrix acquired ownership of the MeridianBet Group and its related companies, in a cash, debt and stock transaction. The acquisition was approved by Golden Matrix’s board of directors and by the company’s shareholders at the special meeting held on March 19, 2024.
The combination of the two companies’ dynamic business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) casino, sports betting and tournament platforms creates a global enterprise operating on four continents.
The common stock of the combined company will continue trading on The Nasdaq Capital Market under the ticker symbol ‘GMGI’.
“This is a momentous occasion and one that we believe will result in a fundamental as well as a transformational change for our rapidly growing company,” the Chief Executive Officer for Golden Matrix, Brian Goodman, said. “The consolidated businesses are expected to deliver significant increases in both revenues and profitability and we believe we are now well-positioned to continue our growth trajectory and deliver incremental value to all our stakeholders.”
