First Look Games continues to welcome new studios to its award-winning platform that directly connects developers and affiliates for the purpose of game promotion, with ELA Games joining its ranks.

ELA Games now have access to the powerful and sophisticated First Look Games platform and its own dedicated library where it can upload information and assets for each of its games, plus the First Look Games White Label Client Area.

The studios’ branded game library can be accessed by a network of approved affiliates who will use the game sheets, logos, images and videos of its slots in the previews and reviews they write for their player audiences.

ELA’s free to play games will be available to all registered publishers through the First Look Games “Demo Game Server”. This includes age verification in jurisdictions where it is legally required.

The studio has total control over the information that is made available to affiliates, and when that information is shared. The First Look Games platform is incredibly secure, with strict access control and cybersecurity defences to ensure all assets are safe.

In addition, ELA Games will launch its first client area, powered by First Look Games. This will act as a shop window for its titles as it looks to drive greater awareness among operators and casino managers while making the onboarding of its games smooth and seamless.

Elliott Resnick, Managing Director at First Look Games, said: “It’s great to see ELA Games come on board to not only take advantage of our marketing platform but also our cutting-edge client area, taking the promotion of its games to the next level.

“Game marketing is tough given the competition that studios are up against, but affiliates provide direct access to player communities seeking the next slots to spin. ELA Games can now tap into these audiences and showcase what its titles offer.”

Mike Cini, Business Owner of ELA Games, added: “First Look Games offers what we need to elevate our marketing activity and leverage the power of affiliates to make more players than ever before aware of our studio and the awesome games that we produce.

“We focus heavily on data and analytics as we believe it’s important for us to be aware of how our games are performing and how they are perceived by players. First Look Games provides great insight to this as well as providing us with a client area where our partners can access everything they need in a seamless manor,”

SOFTSWISS, a global tech expert with over 15 years of experience providing innovative iGaming solutions, has published the Sports Betting Calendar 2024. The product team has gathered 56 major sports events in one convenient file available for free.

Sports events play a pivotal role in the promotional strategies of sports betting operators, often serving as catalysts for increased player activity and engagement. Launching or bolstering a sportsbook ahead of major events is a well-established tactic that leverages heightened interest and excitement among sports fans.

Last year, among the top five tournaments contributing to GGR growth were prominent leagues and competitions like:

  1. NBA
  2. The Premier League
  3. The Serie A
  4. The UEFA Champions League
  5. The Bundesliga

These events draw massive viewership and fan engagement, driving substantial betting activity across various platforms.

Alexander Kamenetskyi, Head of SOFTSWISS Sportsbook, comments: “Such tournaments always attract the most attention from the audience. Despite this, we always suggest operators distribute bets among many events and sports to reduce the financial dependence on the outcome of a particular match. That’s why we focused on over 15 sports domains in the Sports Betting Calendar including major esports tournaments so operators can diversify their approach. Strategically aligning promotions and offerings with various high-profile events, operators can stabilise their revenue streams through optimisation.”

The impact of major sports events extends beyond just sportsbooks, influencing various sectors within the gambling industry, including casinos.

The SOFTSWISS Sportsbook team reveals notable fluctuations in betting patterns during major events such as the FIFA World Cup, with a 10-20% decrease in casino wagering. This underscores the pervasive influence of sports events on consumer behaviour and preferences, as attention is diverted towards large sports competitions.

SOFTSWISS Sportsbook representatives will share more insights about sportsbook launch and promotion during SiGMA Africa Summit 2024 at Stand 25S.

Partnering with iGaming Academy has enabled Soft2Bet to train its teams at scale and strengthen its commitment to regulatory compliance and excellence.

As an iGaming operator and supplier that works across a multitude of jurisdictions, Soft2Bet’s scale, reach and size (with more than 1,000 employees across four main sites) meant finding training solutions that answer multiple and varied needs was paramount.

Whether the training focused on compliance, responsible gambling, anti-money laundering or sporting integrity, the need for a centrally-located, comprehensive and scalable training solution that can be applied to all its teams led Soft2Bet to partner with iGaming Academy.

First project quickly expanded

The collaboration at first focused on compliance training for Soft2Bet’s operational teams, but quickly evolved into a company-wide approach. The ability of both Soft2Bet and iGaming Academy to quickly gauge the scale of the requirement has enabled the effective rollout of training to a vast international workforce.

Elisabeth Isaksson, Head of Regulatory and Compliance at Soft2Bet, says: “iGaming Academy’s training platform and courses not only facilitate multi-jurisdictional training whilst reducing repetitive learning, it also offers seamless support for policy uploads and additional training materials. This presents a significant advantage for a large, international and growing company, centralising all training materials in one accessible location to enhance employees’ learning experience and streamline the auditing process.”

Soft2Bet’s partnership with iGaming Academy is an example of its commitment to staff training at every level and of harnessing scale and reach by creating a centralised hub for compliance and regulatory matters.

Rebeka Mizzi, Commercial Director of iGaming Academy, added: “It’s a pleasure to work with such a renowned and exciting company. Soft2Bet’s commitment to staff development and training is visible in the way they’re utilising our platform to create a centralised knowledge hub for their entire business.

This goes beyond our industry courses with more and more teams adding their policies and training onto the system, giving their staff the support they need on an ongoing basis. With the system supporting their team leads to track learning analytics and identify knowledge gaps, it’s a testament to how they have not only partnered with us to conform with their compliance requirements, but to truly understand their staff and equip them with the knowledge to excel at their jobs and take the company to the next level.”

iGaming Academy’s Plug-in Solution

The partnership has also been strengthened by Soft2Bet’s use of iGaming Academy’s new AML and RG Plug-in Solution. This has enabled it to adapt, localise and tailor its training to “multiple jurisdictional requirements and having the option to complement the training with supporting policies through their Policy Hub,” adds Isaksson, “this has proven to be immensely effective for our organisation”.

By leveraging iGaming Academy’s comprehensive training solutions, Soft2Bet is reaping the benefits of a scalable, centralised and efficient platform that has empowered it to navigate the complexities of multi-jurisdictional training.
