Generation Esports has entered into a partnership with Nintendo. As part of the partnership, Generation Esports will integrate three Nintendo titles, namely Splatoon 3, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, into its Middle School Esports League offering.
These additions to Generation Esports’ ever-expanding library of titles elevate the possibilities for students to learn and compete in environments dedicated to providing constructive, family-friendly gaming events to help build positive gaming communities within the scholastic environment. Students from across the nation will have the chance to demonstrate their skills in league-style competition with the launch of the free-to-compete Middle School Esports League Spring Major on February 27, 2023.
Mason Mullenioux, CEO at Generation Esports, said: “Every student deserves the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities that best suit their interests — and nothing shows our commitment to them better than establishing the framework to make school seem more fun.”
As a leader in scholastic competitive gaming, Generation Esports’ mission is to foster every facet of student growth to support and create access for middle schools nationwide like never before. In partnership with Nintendo, the company is rolling out Nintendo Switch systems and software to numerous middle schools, enabling them to participate in the free-to-compete MSEL Spring Major.
Jon Bukosky, CCO at Generation Esports, said: “Opportunities to create access and develop more paths to success for maturing middle school youths is at the core of this partnership — and we’re looking forward to nurturing the next generation of esports.”
