Belong Gaming Arenas, a subsidiary of gaming and technology company Vindex, has partnered with scholastic-focused esports platform Generation Esports to provide in-person gaming experiences for schools to take part in.
Using Belong’s state-of-the-art gaming arenas, Generation Esports will take LAN’s to the next level across a variety of events in the near and long-term future. In addition, all participants in Generation Esports’ top communities, the High School Esports League (HSEL), Middle School Esports League (MSEL), and Military Gaming League (MGL), will get exclusive arena discounts.
“We could not be more excited to work with such an innovative company as we constantly look to enhance the esports experience. Students, educators, and parents from all over the country will not only get a chance to compete in these events, but also get special access to exclusive discounts, opportunities, and access at Belong’s amazing arenas,” Jon Bukosky, Chief Commercial Officer at Generation Esports, said.
With national, regional, and one-off competitions planned, Belong Gaming Arenas will be at the center of many of these efforts to usher in a new wave of gamers with unprecedented experiences. The arenas provide the latest in technology for gamers to take advantage of, whether for competitions, practices, or casual play with friends and family.
“Belong Gaming Arenas is committed to building communities through casual and competitive gaming experiences, and Generation Esports is an ideal partner in extending that ethos. Through this partnership, we are able to provide more opportunities for students, educators, parents, and service members to participate and interact. It’s an exciting time for the gaming and esports industry as two major players come together,” Wim Stocks, SVP of Partnerships and Commercial, said.
The partnership kicks off immediately across all of Belong Gaming Arena’s US locations. Belong currently has locations in or near Columbus, Nashville, Dallas, Philadelphia, Houston, and Chicago.
